I learnt a lot regarding green technology in particular. The CleanTech Park One visit was very insightful and thought-provoking. In addition, the visit to Jurong Island was very special since it is not a common site for one to visit. Seeing the various exhibitions on how Jurong Island was developed taught me much on its rich history. The visit to one-north was also very interesting, in particular the manner in which the skybridge linked the buildings and how the wind direction helped to ventilate it.

Jurong Island was defintely the most interesting site for me. It was an eye-opener and exhibited a part of Singapore's industries rarely seen elsewhere.

To be honest, while it does interest me to some extent, it does not necessarily inspire me to be an engineer, whether it is affiliated with JTC or not. Nevertheless, it was an interesting and enjoyable field trip.
